Today I humble myself under God’s Word. God’s Word is the final authority in my life. I choose humility! I defer my will to the Lord’s incredible mind! God is sovereign! God is my king.
Today I submit to the Holy Spirit, who is my counselor. I submit to God’s love toward me, in me, and out of me toward others.
I am God-conscious. I am aware of His thoughts. I am aware of His Impressions. I am aware of His signals. I think about Him, about others, and not myself.
I do not focus on my limitations, weaknesses, or lack of… My attention is on His power, His love, and His ability inside of me. I submit to His love in me, flowing out to others! I submit to His ability to curb my earthly and carnal motivations.
My ambition is to magnify Him and not myself - for Him to get the credit and not live for status!
I die to arrogance and self-importance! I die to comparisons and competitions with other humans! I die to collecting material possessions to validate my life. My trophies are not things I possess, but my family and the people I serve!
