Senior Citizens Free Oil Change
Each year FCFC partners with local area businesses to provide a free oil change, exterior wash and interior vacuum to the community senior citizens (60 years and up). Local businesses provide the technicians for the oil change and FCFC provides volunteers to wash and vacuum the vehicles.

 

NEW Educator's Breakfast
Just before the start of school each year, FCFC invites the Superintendent of Schools and all first year teachers for Clovis Municipal schools to a free breakfast, welcoming them to the community. Our Church staff proudly serves this meal. The purpose is not only to welcome them to the area, but to let them know that we appreciate the sacrifices that they make for our children and support them in what they do.

 

Coats For Kids
Annually FCFC collects winter coats, hats and gloves from different locations throughout the community. Volunteers categorize them by size and gender and make them available for distribution to families. On the specified day less fortunate families throughout the community are invited to come and select a coat and jacket for their child. Each year over 600 winter coats are distributed in one day to over 140 families. Praise God!

Nursing Home Banquet
Each year, the Nursing Home Ministry organizes a banquet for those in a nursing home. The congregation is asked to provide gift baskets for all the residents who attend. This is a very special time since some of those in the nursing homes have no family or friends.

 

 

Backpack Giveaway
This event is held at the beginning of each school year for students in grades 1-12. Students receive a backpack filled with supplies suggested by the school system. The Backpack Giveaway is open to the community, and it is intended for those facing financial challenges.
